Our 2009 Reunion to be held April 22-26, 2009.

We have reserved 40 rooms at the Clairon Airport Hotel and Conference Center in Jacksonville, Florida. This Hotel is very convenient to the airport and ground transportation. It is also close to many good restaurants and a shopping center.

The rooms are available at a rate of $89.00/day plus taxes. This rate will apply for three days before,and three days after our meeting. We will have our own Hospitality room, and will be able to bring in our own booze and refreshments.

These days are immediately proceeding the USSVI Eastern Regional South which will be held the next weekend in St. Augustine. There will probably be some carryover.

John Stanford has also locked in Thursday, April 23rd for a tour of a SSBN Missile Boat at Kings Bay Submarine Base. We will spend a day in St. Marys, GA, which is near the Base, and also has a very good Submarine Museum.

We will conduct our Memorial Services on the Riverboat Cruise on Friday, April 24.

Other activities planned include a tour of the Anheuser-Busch Bottling Facility (which, of course, implies the opportunity to sample some very fresh beer!).
